Gunpoint

"What Once Was" follows Tristan Rogers, a young college kid living life in the city, struggling to confront a past life at a place he left behind after the sudden news that his father is moving out of the family home.

This is a short film I helped make at UCSD with other students. I was Director of Photography and worked closely with the debuting writer-director, Zak Hori, on planned cinematography and lighting.

This film was screened at the Suraj Israni Inagural Fellowship Event and financially supported by Suraj Israni Center for Cinematic Arts, a program that celebrates creatives and their works at UC San Diego.

This film was one of my biggest learning experiences and a very fun time.
