The times I provided above mark where the portion I chose for Best Edits is. It is a fight scene for the short film, Shadows of the Order.

Rako, the Guardian character with double-blades, and Agent Halcard, the enemy in black, engage in the fight of the film's climax.

 

This fight was fun to edit and a chance to work with ultra-wide shots that I placed specifically in places to try to enhance the scale and finality of the fight.

I also filmed the fight, and it was a unique editing experience in the sense that there was not a variety of shots to work with. Filming was taking much longer than expected and so we needed to stick to mostly wide and ultra-wide shots. As for the editing process, it meant I needed to keep a brisk pace to the fight and edit carefully to keep it visually interesting.
