This is the official trailer for a Star Wars fan film that I worked, releasing May 4th, 2025.

 

I edited this trailer to feel high budget and efficient with its time. Lots of thought went into the progression of the trailer and how best to promote the film. I ended up with going the route of hinting at some of the emotional/internal drama that Vader faces in the film, an introduction to the plot, a sneak peek at Vader's antagonist, Chixxo, and her motivation, an action montage which builds in tension and climaxes at the end, and finally, some closing text and a single line from Vader to offer a "response" to Chixxo's earlier dialogue.

The music was very much a guideline to follow for the flow as well as a constraining factor upon what could be shown, making this a very fun challenge to take on.
