​"Gunpoint" follows a newcomer detective who ends up investigating his own mentor, suspected of crimes committed in secret.

This is a short film I made at UCSD with other students. I was Director of Photography and conducted all cinematography and helped with editing.

For the cinematography I wanted a heavy presence of handheld throughout the film for a gritty feel, but first started with tripod in the first scene and parts of the second scene for stability and calmness.

We submitted this film to our schools film festival and received high scores on most aspects, and high praise from one of the judges.

I love that I got to be a part of this film, it being my first thriller of sorts.
