This is a short comedy about a young man trying to enjoy his time at the beach, but constantly disrupted by sand.

 

I worked on this while at Palomar Community College. I was the Director of Photography.

The assignment of this project was to use a Super 8mm camera which could only start and stop recording and not be edited digitally, meaning each shot could only be done in one take and approximately the exact length desired. So this film was essentially shot and edited simultaneously on set.

This is an edit in which I adjusted a couple cuts and added sound, but pretty much every cut has stayed.
